This is a fulltime opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Robert Half Technology is seeking an IS Operations Manager. The IS Operations Department to ensure both optimal system availability as well as business continuity planning, processes and controls are in place to support business operations. Ensures that core platform products and services are delivered to end users in a timely and accurate manner, in alignment with organizational and departmental goals and objectives. Responsible for core platform operations that include, but are not limited to, daily maintenance, batch job scheduling and maintenance, back-up and recovery operations, release management and statement/notice production. Responsible for job-automation using software and tools (e.g. OPCON). Sets long-term vision for document management solutions by collaborating with the business units.

Duties include:Hire, develop and lead the IS Operations staff to ensure efficient delivery of IS products/services to internal and external customers in a timely and accurate manner, while maintaining the a high standard of quality;Ensure employees have the proper tools, training, and resources to successfully perform the requirements of their job;Plan and coordinate Operating Systems changes, expansions and upgrades. Ensure maintenance of back-up files;Monitor and perform automated and manual backups and restore processes. Perform disaster recovery tests;Schedule computer jobs and ensure the accuracy of the generated output;Create and maintain procedures to ensure generated output is correct and produced at the appropriate time;Coordinate the planning, implementation, support and management of the core platform system;Collaborate with other IT teams, business stakeholders and core platform vendor on testing and rolling out new software releases;Administer server and software tool applications daily;Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, exhibiting core values;Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware, software and communication problems. Maintain necessary logs and reporting for ITS management;Establish procedures for IS administrators to follow when software/hardware problems are identified.Other duties as needed

The successful IS Operations Manager will have:Minimum six years' experience managing a mid-size computer operations center in a financial services environment;Core platform, document management (Nautilus, OnBase, IMM), statement processing and job scheduling experience preferred;Minimum four years' experience in each of the following: technical writing, managing technical projects, and analyzing data with PC/server query tools to create reports;Prior experience with Datawarehouse preferred;Minimum three years in a supervisory or team lead role;Demonstrated experience managing long-term projects;Advanced proficiency with MS Excel. Intermediate proficiency with all other MS Office products;Basic knowledge of HTML and web tools.

Bachelor's or four-year college degree (in computer science, information systems, security engineering or related field preferred), or equivalent experience.

Must be able to pass a background and credit check.
