We currently have an opening for IMMEDIATE HIRE. This contract-to-permanent position is located in an apartment complex in the southeast Albuquerque area. You'll perform various duties cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, wiping and sanitizing all public areas in an apartment complex on a scheduled basis. You'll also work on projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
6 months commercial cleaning experience in apartment building public areas, hotel/motel/resort, office building/offices or other public facilities. Residential cleaning experience is not considered.
Able to perform all duties as outlined above.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds
Walk, climb, push/pull, see, hear, speak, work in tight spaces consistently all day
Able to communicate in English, both written and verbally.
Excellent attendance
This jobstarts immediately, and our client anticipates this becoming a permanent position after 90 days. Excellent attendance is required and you must work this schedule.
Work hours:Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, 1 hour lunch.
Hourly Rate: $16.00

HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES:
Public areas will be cleaned on daily, weekly or monthly basis and include gyms, lobbies, bathrooms, stairwells, basement and main hallways and laundry rooms. Duties include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping down doors, railings, switch plates, gym equipment, walls and dusting.
