Armaspec is seeking a skilled and highly motivated hands-on Machine Shop Manager with 10+ years of CNC Programmer experience to join the team to rapidly develop and expand our product line.
We have a diverse machine shop with 3 and 5 axis machining centers with automated pallet systems and robotic cells and 7-10 axis screw machines.
Will be responsible for the creation and revision of CNC programs while adhering to quality requirements and workmanship standards. Also responsible for building and managing the team, modeling professionalism, interpersonal skills, problem solving, adaptability, and personal value commitment.
Min requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge of G Code, M Code. Program CNC mills utilizing Autodesk Inventor HSM or similar CAM software for new products, fixtures, and tooling.
Must be able to read a print and understand quality notes, tolerances, engraving, true positions and locational data, hold tolerances as low as +/- .0005

Root cause analysis and problem solving
Apply lean manufacturing principles to lead, motivate, train and supervise employees
Provide feedback to engineers, other machinists and programmers on design and process improvement
Develop, train and provide technical support to less experienced CNC Operators.
Maintain the safety culture to raise employee awareness, recognize and correct unsafe conditions and acts
Work closely with other departments within the business unit to ensure OTD (on time delivery) and proper flow production is met within area
This position requires the ability to take a solid model and prototype products from those models within a short period of time. Making the required modifications and then taking those products into our production environment.
Compensation Range: $80k-$120k a year (Comp DOE)
(Sign in bonus for relocation with a min of 1 year contract might be available)
This position is at our Moriarty, NM facility.
