As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a student, stay-at-home parent, or anyone looking for flexible, part-time work that can be done primarily from home.

Position Overview

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing our presence on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business. You’ll help us connect with our community, engage current and potential customers, and share helpful, relevant content related to HVAC services and seasonal tips.

Key Responsibilities

Create, schedule, and post content to our social media accounts (primarily Facebook and Instagram)

Develop monthly content calendars

Monitor messages, comments, and reviews; respond in a timely and professional manner

Brainstorm and execute engaging campaigns (e.g., seasonal promotions, giveaways, educational posts)

Coordinate with our team to highlight real jobs, staff spotlights, and customer testimonials

Track basic engagement metrics (likes, shares, follows, post reach, etc.)

Keep our Google Business Profile updated with posts, photos, and reviews

Stay up to date on trends in local business marketing and HVAC-relevant content

Ideal Candidate Traits

Strong writing and communication skills with a friendly, conversational tone

Experience managing social media for a business (personal or student experience may be considered)

Creative mindset with an eye for simple design and branding

Familiarity with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, or other scheduling platforms

Highly self-motivated, organized, and dependable

Able to work independently and manage deadlines

Interest or background in digital marketing, communications, or content creation is a plus

Comfortable with basic photo editing and content formatting

Local knowledge or general understanding of home services and HVAC is a bonus

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

While not mandatory, the following certifications or training are considered a plus:

Meta Social Media Marketing Certification

Google Digital Marketing or Google Business Profile Training

HubSpot Social Media or Content Marketing Certification

Hootsuite Social Media Certification

Canva Design Training or portfolio examples
