Andy Scholl Law, P.C. is a small two-lawyer Albuquerque Plaintiff’s medical malpractice and personal injury litigation firm looking for legal assistant. Our current legal assistant is leaving to attend law school and we are looking for a replacement.
Relevant experience for the position includes legal assistant tasks (client relations, support of attorneys, preparing legal documents, processing emails, legal filing, case organization, calendaring, phone answering, discovery, medical and billing records requests and tracking, etc.) and paralegal tasks (legal assistant tasks plus medical chronologies, legal document drafting, discovery, etc.). Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, communication and organizational skills and should be willing to learn and use new technologies and skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat are preferred. We use Apple computers and are as paperless as we can be. Schedule: 8:30-5:00 Monday through Friday (full time); part time positions considered
Education: High school and Associates degree required; additional degrees preferred.
Experience in legal or medical field (preferred)
