Professional law office located downtown has an immediate need for a File Clerk / Receptionist. Ideal candidate would be interested in long-term employment.

Responsibilities include:
Create, organize and maintain files accurately and efficiently.
Answering incoming calls, transfer as appropriate.
Check/take messages and greet clients.

Requirements for this position:
Previous experience in a law office is REQUIRED.
Must be familiar with standard legal documents, like pleadings, request for hearing, etc. and be able to distinguish the various documents.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are required.
Professional appearance and pleasant demeanor are required.
This position requires an individual with a high degree of accuracy, ability to stay focused, good common sense, reliable attendance and punctuality.
Note: FilingÂis the primary responsibility of this position with some rotational reception duties as needed. Candidates will be required to take ownership of firms files and ensure that filing is complete and accurate in a timely fashion.
The anticipated rate of pay is $13.50 / hr.
