Silver Leaf Farms is the leader in hydroponic and outdoor organic vegetable production in New Mexico. Currently, SLF has over 21 acres of field production as well as over 20k/sq of controlled environment agriculture.
Silver Leaf Farms is looking to hire two new farm crew members to join our growing team. We're looking for positive, hard-working people. As the seasons change, so do the responsibilities, so team members need to have a strong ability to multi-task, ability to change plans quickly, and working farm knowledge. Skills should include: seeding, harvesting, transplanting, sorting and grading, basic understanding of plant physiology and biology. Previous growing experience is preferred. Qualifications
Positive attitude, strong work ethic and flexibility
Previous farm experience preferred, but we will train
Basic knowledge of crops, seedlings, and various soil types and conditions a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50lbs
Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, and squat
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is DOE, starting range at $15/hr. Paid bi-weekly as well as weekly supply of organic vegetables. We proudly provide workers’ comp. insurance to all employees.
