Hourly Rate: $17

Reports to: Manufacturing Warehouse Manager

Work Schedule:M-F 9-5, You'll also work rotating Saturday's 10-4. 1 hour lunch is required (may take just 30 min, also).

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manufacturing Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily operations for manufacturing needs. The Manufacturing Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily and weekly clay production. This position reports directly to the Manufacturing Warehouse Manager. The company has just under 30 employees, and is a very friendly and inclusive work environment, so it's non-negotiable that you get along well with different personality types and remain professional at all times. Excellent attendance is critical. As a small business, the attention to detail and attendance is everything. You'll have opportunity for a little OT since Saturday shifts are rotated between employees every other Saturday.

Our client would like to hire this person permanent after 90 days if you work out well, with a good performance review at 90 days.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Pull materials.

Count bags/lbs.

Mix both dry and wet ingredients.

Pug/bag/box clay.

Move pallets to designated space in the warehouse.

Count bags before disposing.

Cover pallets exposed to outside elements.

Restock retail floor daily with clay.

Assist customers with filling and loading slip and clay.

Assist sales associates with mixing dry materials.

Keep manufacturing and warehouse space clean and organized .

Efficiently and effectively communicate with the Manufacturing Warehouse Manager regarding the process and progress of manufacturing.

Inform Manufacturing Warehouse Manager daily for any maintenance concerns regarding machinery, tools, forklifts, etc.

Make deliveries when needed.

Ensure safety measures are always followed .

Cross train for all duties.

Review and implement closing day checklist to ensure all machinery is off and both the warehouse and manufacturing buildings are properly secured.

Required to wear a respirator, get a respirator fit test, soneeds to shave so that it properly suctions to skin.

Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;

Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must be able and willing to repeatedly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB:

Show up on time every day

Reliable attendance

Have a clean background

Pass drug testing

Valid driver's license

High school diploma/GED

Will have to adhere to safety and OSHA guidelines (will have to shave to wear a respirator)

Able to start immediately

Needto wear no slip shoes/boots. They don't have to be steel toe but can't wear chanclas, Crocs or open toe shoes of any kind.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. This is a small business, so it's critical you have reliable attendance and get along well with co-workers.

PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT:

Performance review at the 3-month mark

If hired permanent,and have been with the company less than a year, you will accrue 1.5 hours/pay period giving them 40 hours per year.

1 year + accrues 3.08 hours/pay period for a total of 80 hours per year.

After a year of employment,are eligible to enroll in the IRA plan with a 3% company match .

7 paid holidays: New Year, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Employee birthday.
