DECORATIVE CONCRETE TECH: FLOOR REFINISHING & MACHINE OPERATION
High Desert Concrete Design is a family-owned and operated concrete design company located in Albuquerque, NM. We are seeking a decorative concrete laborer to join our team. Previous experience in flooring, plaster work and/or painting is preferred. This is a full-time position with a typical work week of 40 hours per week. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Prepares and installs various floor coverings including epoxy, overlay concrete as directed by the team leader.
Operates a variety of tools and heavier equipments, ranging from hand tools to large floor grinders as directed & trained by team leader.
Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
Follows all safety procedures and regulations as set forth by company, state, and federal agencies.
Ability to understand work instructions as well as follow instructions accurately.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs at a time.
Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time while carrying tools, materials, etc.
Must have the ability to work on your feet for long periods of time while performing essential functions of the job.
This is not a desk job; you will be required to stand, stoop, bend and lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly.
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
Duties may vary from job to job depending on the project.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older; Valid driver’s license; Ability to pass a drug test; Ability to pass a background check; Ability to work overtime as required; Ability to communicate effectively with others (verbal & written).
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
Albuquerque, NM: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
