Role Description
This is a part-time/PRN on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner at G & M Urgent Care located in Rio Rancho, NM. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care including diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses and injuries, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and educating patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. Weekend hours are Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 10-2, week day hours are 8-6.
Qualifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Mexico
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in an urgent care or primary care setting, New Grads Welcome
Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
