Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
Follow recipes, including preparing, measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients
Ensure ingredients and final products are to quality standards
Prepares final products for packaging and distribution of foods to our cafes
Scoop muffins, fill and top pies, prepare all mixes and powders, finish cookies and scones and package pies and biscuits.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling equipment
Handle and store ingredients and food properly
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications/Skills/Physical Requirements:
Minimum 1 to 3 years of bakery production and/or experience in high volume commercial kitchen and or bakery.
Applicants must be 18 years old and be eligible for work in the United States
Knowledge of kitchen equipment
Food Handling in large production facility
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environments
Ability to multitask and organize
Ability to work as a team member
Follow directions and instructions.
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to reach, bend, squat, and lift up to 50lbs. while on shift
Ability to withstand frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and extreme cold.
