Peace Pizza has been proudly serving Albuquerque for the last three years. Founded and operated by Gregory Hamilton, Peace Pizza has been a one-man operation, driven by passion and dedication. Now, we're ready to expand, and we're looking for a full-time crew to join us in bringing our wood-fired pizzas to even more people!
Job Description:
We’re on the hunt for dedicated, easy-going, and reliable individuals to join the Peace Pizza team as Food Truck Crew Members. You'll be working directly alongside Gregory as we expand our operations. If you’re passionate about food, love working with people, and want to be part of a growing business, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and work all stations in the food truck.
Start and maintain a wood fire for cooking pizzas.
Assist with minor food preparation and ingredient prep.
Cook pizzas to perfection, ensuring every order meets our high standards.
Interact with customers, take orders, and provide excellent service.
Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently during service.
Maintain clear and easy-going communication with the team.
Optional for Extra Pay: Wash dishes and catalog pizza toppings at the end of the shift.
Hours:
Initial hours: Monday through Friday, 4:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
Potential expansion to Saturday and Sunday hours once we have a full crew of 5 members.
Compensation:
Starting wage: $15/hour, including tips.
Pay scale: $15 - $26/hour, with opportunities for rapid advancement as the business grows.
Additional opportunities for management positions within a month, with higher pay reflecting increased responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Respectful, easy-going, and reliable.
At least 2 years of line cooking or cashier experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Must be able to read and follow instructions.
