Description Robert Half is recruiting for a prominent Albuquerque Manufacture for a Sr. FP& A/Cost Analyst who will manage financial planning, forecasting, and cost accounting. The role requires a proactive problem solver who can improve efficiency and drive strategic actions. Should have strong communication skills to advise senior management. Key Responsibilities: Master the FP& A process, including forecasting and reporting tools, quarter-end process, and strategic planning Assist in ad hoc reporting and maintain tools for financial metric dissemination Manage reporting, forecasting, and analysis of manufacturing cost sections of the P& L and balance sheet. Prepare relevant journal entries for month-end close Conduct cost management ensuring accurate product cost and inventory information Support manufacturing operations by monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing daily activities Review and update standards against current cost roll-ups Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) costing accuracy Perform make-buy analyses for parts/assemblies Support inventory optimization initiatives and lead annual physical inventory count Lead commercial analysis and reporting of Sales/Orders/Backlog Balance Sheet reconciliationsRequirements Ideal candidate will have: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication Self-motivated, proactive, and strong GAAP and accounting knowledge Ability to streamline complex processes, advanced financial modeling Bachelor’s in accounting or finance Experience with ERP, Advanced Excel; Power BI and JDE preferred 4+ years of FP& A/Accounting experience; cost accounting preferred 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
