Growing together.We seek a Per Diem Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Opportunity to cover shifts at 2 locations in Albuquerque, NM.Schedule: As needed; Pharmacy hours are generally Monday – Friday / 8:30 am – 5:00 pm / No weekends or holidaysLocations: 5150 Journal Ctr Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM & 7850 Jefferson St NE Ste 301, Alburquerque, NMTour a Genoa Pharmacy at the following link: Genoa Healthcare On-site Pharmacy Tour (youtube.com) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wR5bzhHlT7k)Primary Responsibilities:

Delivery of medications (mileage reimbursement allotted)

Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist

Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies

Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders

Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records

Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements

Performs various clerical duties relating to the department

Communicates with solid professional verbal and written communication skills

Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff

Other duties as assigned

Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of New Mexico

Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

National Pharmacy Technician Certification

Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
