Description Local Educational Cooperative is seeking an HR Generalist/Assistant. This position involves providing key support in Human Resources, managing new hire and separation activities/benefits, employee file maintenance and managing information technology within the office and for remote staff. The role reports to the Business Manager and Executive. Candidates must have at least 2 years of related experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, advanced knowledge of computer systems, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.Responsibilities include overseeing employee benefits and policies, managing employee training, maintaining employee records, and facilitating employee meetings. The role also involves updating organization policies and procedures, managing job postings and interviews, and maintaining salary schedules. The incumbent will also be involved in preparing letters of intent for current employees and seek legal consultation when needed.Further duties include maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, safeguarding confidential information, and fostering professional relationships. The candidate should continuously pursue professional development activities and may be required to conduct internal training. Other duties as assigned by the executive director will also form part of the role.Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is necessary Familiarity with Ceridian and HRMS software Experience with 'About Time' software Ability to handle Benefit Functions effectively Proven experience in Compensation Administration Understanding of Compliance in HR context Strong skills in Employee Relations Must be able to legally work in the location of the job.
