- The Cable Technician is responsible for the removal, installation and maintenance of wired and wireless data connectivity throughout the AFRL Campus.
- Will be responsible for Properly installing, terminating, testing, and activation of wireless access points, and copper and fiber station cabling.
- Installation of conduit, junction boxes, and other cable management hardware as required per job location.
- Work from customer submitted work orders.
- Coordinate with the customer to ensure the required services are installed and operational.
- Document cable installation by labeling patch panels, cables and station jacks; recording configuration diagrams. Maintains safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations
