Join us and be part of our inspiring journey.This is a unique opportunity for an early career data analysts to join Scientific Insights and Analytics in Surgical Structural Heart Valve (SURG) business unit to support various global medical and clinical affairs activities. This is a fast-paced, dynamic team working on innovative medical devices. The individual in this position will have opportunities in generating evidence from various clinical trial data and real world data (RWD).The Analyst, Data Analytics participates in assessing data to improve operations within Medical and Clinical Affairs, with emphasis in clinical.You will make an impact by

Identifying data source and determine the data processing needs for analysis and data visualization

Identifying, modifying, and integrating analytics tools to enhance analytics capabilities

Performing data processing and management for analysis and data visualization

Organizing, analyzing, and creating reports, including dashboards, to summarize medical and clinical affairs projects, programs, and initiatives

Providing input to design control documents including algorithm requirement specs, and risk documents

Investigating, assessing, and interpreting medical and clinical intel for strategic decision making to support business objectives, while proposing moderately complex solutions and recommendations

What you'll need (Required):

Bachelor's Degree in related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Biostatistics) Plus 3 years of previous related experience is Required OR

Master's Degree or equivalent + internship, senior projects, or thesis in Computer Science, Engineering, Biostatistics including either industry or industry/education Plus 1 year including either industry or industry/education strongly Preferred

Must be proficient with R and Python

The location for this position can be hybrid in Irvine, California or remote within the US Pacific Standard Time Zone (PST) or US Mountain Time (MST)

What else we look for (Preferred):

Experience in data visualization tools (i.e. Qlikview, Tableau, etc.) is Preferred

Experience working in clinical research in the medical device industry is Preferred

Additional knowledge in statistical language/software such as SAS is Desired

Experience in handling big clinical data (e.g., registry, medical healthcare records, or claims data) is Preferred
