Description Local Educational Company seeks 15 Candidates to assist with Grant Applications. Individuals must have strong attention to detail as you will be auditing applications against a rubric/template. This is a two week contract, full time M-F from 8am-430 paying $20/hr. The role involves supporting a local educational company with the review and scoring of PreK applications. This is an onsite role that requires a strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a team.Responsibilities: Review and score PreK applications with advanced attention to detail Audit applications against a rubric/template for consistency and accuracy Discuss ideas and findings within a committee setting to ensure fairness and objectivity Utilize basic computer and data entry skills to record and maintain accurate records of application scores and feedback Adapt and learn new strategies as needed to improve the application review process Work collaboratively within a team to ensure all applications are reviewed within the set timeframe Maintain objectivity and fairness throughout the application review process Use mathematical skills to review budgets for accuracy Demonstrate high reading comprehension to understand and evaluate application content.Requirements The role requires proficiency in administrative office tasks. Prior experience in the role of Administrative Assistant is not mandatory but would be advantageous. The candidate must possess skills in data entry and must be able to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Knowledge in credit granting process is essential for this role. The candidate should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. The candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in common office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, is necessary. The candidate must have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks is crucial for this role. The candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently. Customer service skills are beneficial for this role. The candidate should be able to adapt to new tasks and challenges as they arise. The ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently is necessary for this role.
