Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to be a part of our team based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87107, United States. The individual will be primarily involved with the processing of customer payments, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer payments through various methods Maintain and update customer account portfolios ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Handle customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to manage disputes on accounts Comply with Nevada credit law and SOPs in performing collection procedures Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained, fostering good working relationships Maintain an Account Portfolio of 1000 accounts with accurate notes and terms for customers Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on their status Reconcile and keep customer accounts up to date Handle large volumes of orders and calls while ensuring a high level of service and efficient resolution of concerns posed by the customer. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and sales Experience performing various office functions and tasks Skilled in producing comprehensive reports Familiar with different company procedures Understanding of compliance standards Ability to process payments efficiently Experience in managing cash activity Ability to review and analyze financial documents Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in scheduling tasks and appointments Capacity to supervise a team effectively Knowledge of 'About Time' software would be beneficial Familiarity with receptionist duties Proficient in check-processing procedures Understanding of collection processes Knowledge of credit systems and managing deposits Ability to write and comprehend financial notes Familiarity with different payment methods Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies Video editing and production skills would be a plus Ability to conduct research and analysis Experience in managing customer authorizations Skilled in handling customer accounts Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
