Pima Medical Institute is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced Healthcare Administration professional to implement the curriculum of the evening front office Medical Assistant program. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:45pm-10:05pm. Essential functions include:
-Implement and evaluate daily lesson plans for students to include scheduled activities and materials of modules
-Plan instruction to achieve specific objectives based upon student need and established curriculum
-Evaluate the performance of students regarding achievements in curriculum and activities and make necessary provisions to meet learning needs
-Monitor student attendance
-Maintain student grades
-Prepare lectures and practical demonstrations
Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Healthcare Administration program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation AND have a minimum of three years of full-time Healthcare Administration experience OR four years of job-related training and experience for candidates who are not graduates from an accredited Healthcare Administration program.
The ideal candidate must have strong computer literacy skills and be able to work with multiple online systems including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Meet, Google Hangouts, Zoom, PowerPoint, and EHR systems.

This position will require the chosen candidate to teach the curriculum in an online format. The chosen candidate is expected to teach on-ground at the times listed above pending the Governor's health orders
