Job Title: Packaging Machine OperatorJob DescriptionAs a Packaging Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating automated Form, Fill, Seal (FFS) machines to program, run, and perform continuous quality control. You will sort, weigh, and ensure that the dispensed product meets weight requirements and specifications. The role involves troubleshooting, adjusting settings, and stopping or resetting machines to fix malfunctions or clear jams. You must have excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform tasks quickly and correctly. Basic math skills and computer documentation skills are essential.Responsibilities
Operate automated packaging machines.
Sort, weigh, and confirm that the dispensed product meets weight requirements and specifications.
Perform continuous quality control.
Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings as necessary.
Stop or reset machines to fix malfunctions or clear jams.
Quickly notice deviations from normal equipment function.
Utilize basic math skills to convert units and perform calculations.
Essential Skills
Experience with packaging machinery, including FFS, bagging, sealing, and cartoning equipment.
At least 1 year of experience with FFS machinery or at least 2 years of experience with any packaging machinery.
GMP experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
Basic math skills for unit conversions and calculations.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in food manufacturing, packaging, and labeling.
Knowledge of GMP in the food and beverage industry.
Strong hand-eye coordination and quick task performance
Work EnvironmentThe facility operates in shifts from 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm. Lunch is paid.
