Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the advertising industry, located in New Jersey, for a Prooer. As a Prooer, your main role will be to review and correct written material to ensure accuracy. You will be part of a fast-paced team, ensuring the highest quality of content.Responsibilities: Review and correct written materials for accuracy and consistency. Ensure all content meets the standards for quality and style. Work collaboratively with a team to divide and complete tasks. Be available to work on weekends as needed to meet project deadlines. Respond quickly to urgent prooing needs. Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. Handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Liaise with the team to bring up to speed on the project.02720-0013169583Requirements Proficiency in prooing and editing written materials Strong understanding of advertising industry terminology and jargon Excellent command over English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling Attention to detail for identifying errors in text, layout, and design Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of standard prooing marks and notations Familiarity with different style guides such as APA, MLA, and Chicago Proficiency in using software tools for prooing and editing Strong communication skills for clear and concise feedback to writers and designers Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Advertising or a related field Previous experience in prooing, preferably within the advertising industry Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Willingness to keep up-to-date with changes in language and industry trends.
