Technical Project ManagerTitle: Technical Project ManagerLocation: Whippany, NJ (Onsite)Job Description:The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for defining and owning the content and direction of change projects to support the high-performance continuous delivery of these projects. This role requires creating and maintaining plans from the Product Owner's roadmap, establishing delivery disciplines, managing issues and risks, overseeing financial resources, and ensuring the product is delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.Responsibilities:

Define and own the content and direction of change projects to support continuous delivery.

Create and maintain a plan based on the Product Owner's roadmap and Kanban management.

Establish and drive delivery disciplines, cadence, and standards for the feature team.

Own the identification, management, and resolution of issues, blockers, and risks facing the feature team.

Provide delivery status reports and ensure the accuracy of reported facts.

Manage vendor relationships, run Request for Proposals (RFPs), and handle contract management.

Control financial resources, including forecasting and managing actuals against the budget.

Ensure the project is delivered within the allocated time, cost, and quality parameters.

Work alongside a product owner and engineering manager to continuously deliver value.

Collaborate with the product owner to define and prioritize changes to meet stakeholder demands.

Engage stakeholders in the change effort, ensuring they are prepared for upcoming changes.

Measure and report on change progress, assess business readiness, and support change adoption.

Plan and support labour relations and employee relations discussions as necessary.

Drive the team to maintain velocity and manage changes in line with expectations.

Identify necessary behaviours to enable change and coach leaders to facilitate project alignment.

Manage all aspects of change projects, including planning, estimating, budgeting, resource allocation, financial management, and time management.

Handle projects up to an SI value of $1.5 million or a portfolio of smaller initiatives of the same value or manage projects of increased complexity.

Ensure all activities and duties comply with regulatory requirements, the Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework, and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.

Requirements:

Expertise in providing change management and project management for assigned projects.

Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and practical management of sprint-based deliveries.

Proficiency in change management methods and tools, particularly the Change Management method and toolkit.

Competence in using the Change Management Project Management method and toolkit.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive project teams to maintain high performance.

Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.

Proactive in identifying and resolving issues, managing risks, and ensuring alignment across the organization.

Financial acumen to manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery.
