Project ManagerLocation: Whippany, NJ Duration: Direct Hire Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5 years minimum proven experience in project management. (CDMO , Contract packaging PMP , client facing, customer related project experience)
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Preferred Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
The Project Manager oversees the entire packaging operation and serves as the primary liaison with customers. Responsibilities include the successful planning, execution, and finalization of project plans while managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that all project objectives are met on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Establish clear project goals and deliverables. Execution & Monitoring: Oversee project execution, ensuring that work is completed on time, within scope, and budget. Monitor project performance and make adjustments as necessary.
'Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams. Assign tasks, set deadlines, and provide support and guidance to team members. Coordinate with the Production Supervisor to ensure adequate staffing levels meet packaging requirements.
Stakeholder Management: As the primary point of contact for stakeholders the PM will communicate project status, address concerns, and manage expectations. Collaborate with customers to facilitate the successful launch of new products and creation of innovative package designs.
Quality Assurance / Regulatory /Compliance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to company policies and client requirements. Collaborate with QA and Production teams to address and resolve daily operational issues. Adherence to compliance with OSHA, state, and other regulatory agency requirements.
Documentation / Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting notes. Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders. Responsible for handling special packaging projects.
Responsible for issuing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to customers, as required
Salary: $110K 15% bonus
