Job Position: Performance Automation QA

Location: Weehawken, NJ/ Hybrid [ 2 days onsite]

Immediate Interview/ Start

Local candidates are preferred; non-locals must be willing to relocate near Client location and work in hybrid model from day one.

We are looking for Performance QA Engineer to:
  • enable and drive a culture of "Automation first" in the QA space
  • create test strategies/test automation approaches, test automation plans, test scripts
  • create and maintain automation scripts and enhance existing scripts
  • perform In-Sprint automation testing and build a regression test suite
  • generate test reports and status to be shared across multiple levels
  • collaborate with developers, testers, and business to troubleshoot the issues
  • do comprehensive analysis of any errors found using logs, Database queries or in code

Your expertise
  • 8-10 years of QA experience. Bachelor's degree in engineering or science or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • automate business acceptance criteria through Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using specification by example
  • hands-on experience with Web Services, REST API testing
  • good knowledge of SQL and RDBMS databases, ETL testing
  • hands-on experience in Java programming language or any programming language (Core Java, Python, C#)
  • hands on working knowledge of test and defect management using tools ALM (includes QC), JIRA (its various plugins) Confluence, Remedy, Excel (including macros)
  • working knowledge of Unix / Linux environments to be able to read files etc.
  • good knowledge of DevOps and CICD pipeline, using GitHub, TeamCity/Jenkins, Nexus etc.
  • expert knowledge in handling Java/Grinder based customized performance testing frameworks
  • expertise in Load, Scalability and Stress testing methodologies
  • experience in conducting Performance testing using industry standard tools, preferably J-meter, Rational performance tester & Visual Studio web test
  • experience with executing performance tests on containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernet
