- Assist in the selection, architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of Data Protection and Data Loss Prevention tools including CASB, data classification, DLP, SIEM and EDR.
- Assist with the formulation, configuration, promulgation, and enforcement of data loss prevention policies, including data use, access control, data encryption and obfuscation policies.
- Work with different teams to improve the DLP solution by updating the policies, identifying rules which require fine tuning, and remediation to meet internal & external regulatory requirements.
- Document all the Engineering solutions, automate and hand off to operational support for maintenance
- Automate scanning solutions for improving efficiencies with DLP scanning program for Data at Rest.
- Document enterprise data at rest and in-use, including data locations, physical and logical data flows.
- Analyze normal data usage patterns, including business process analysis, user behavior analysis, and user personas.
- Analyze existing data-loss threats and vulnerabilities
- Assist with the implementation of a framework for classifying sensitive data including overseeing the configuration of classification technology tools.
- Participate in the ongoing monitoring of potential data loss.
- Support and participate in the security incident response team.
- Create IT workflows, with interlock to Legal and HR on how to triage privacy incidents and events. When a privacy incident event happens, partner with Legal on response.
- Analyze potential data-loss breaches to determine their impact and root cause.
- Upgrade data-loss security measures and controls.
- Partner with representatives of IT and other key business organizations to advance data protection initiatives.
- Develop a high-level of trust with stakeholders to ensure on-going commitment
- Foster a team environment, open to communication and collaboration
- 3-4 years of Senior Security Engineering working experiences with Global deployments of Data Loss Prevention products and/or Cloud based solutions.
- Experience in implementing Data Loss Prevention policies to protect PII data, data classification documents and encryption of data.
- 3-4 years of experience related to information systems development and engineering (software design, database administration, network engineering, business process improvement, and/or information systems design)
- 3-4 years of experience with automation using scripting / programmable knowledge and working knowledge with Databases (Shell, Perl, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, etc.)
- Works closely with the team and make sure the team is successful to deliver the solution.
- 2+ years business analysis experience with a technical focus, including systems design and support
- 2+ years' experience with SQL, data modeling and technical documentation
- 2+ years' experience generating diagrams and flow charts for existing and new processes
- Knowledge of, and experience with cloud-based information systems (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure/Office 365, Salesforce, SharePoint, Box, Dynamics, Zscaler)
- Cybersecurity training and certification (e.g., Security+, SSCP, GSEC).
- Experience performing, interpreting, and reporting vulnerability assessments
- Knowledge of computer networking and network-based information assurance devices
- Experience leading a cross functional team, both in person and in remote work environments
- Experience developing and presenting, orally and in writing, technical information to non-technical audiences and clients
- Bachelor's degree, Computer Science or equivalent technical, scientific or analytical discipline.
- Demonstrable knowledge of, and experience with the implementation and support of data information systems in a professional setting.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
