Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description Job Description:We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team at [Manufacturing Company Name]. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Invoice Generation and Distribution:Generate accurate and timely invoices for products and services provided to customers.Ensure invoices are sent to customers promptly through appropriate channels, including email, mail, or electronic platforms.Payment Processing:Monitor and record incoming payments from customers.Reconcile payments received with outstanding invoices and update records accordingly.Follow up on overdue payments and implement appropriate collection strategies to ensure timely receipt of funds.Customer Account Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer accounts in the accounting system.Address customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances promptly and professionally.Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customer accounts in a timely manner.Credit Management:Assess the creditworthiness of new customers by conducting credit checks and reviewing credit applications.Establish credit limits and payment terms for customers based on company policies and risk assessment.Monitor customer credit limits and take appropriate actions to mitigate credit risks.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable aging, cash receipts, and collection activities.Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for process improvement.Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.Collaboration and Communication:Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and finance, to resolve customer-related issues and improve overall efficiency.Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including customers and vendors, to ensure smooth transaction processing and resolution of disputesRequirements Accounts Receivable (AR), Credit Card Reconciliation Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
