Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.Reporting into the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain Deliver organization, the Director, Data & Analytics will set the Deliver Analytics & insight strategy, digital capability build and execution of the strategy. This role will partner across IM and enterprise teams (i.e. JJT, DDS, etc) to build value driving solutions. The individual will need to demonstrate a strong knowledge of Deliver not to mention be forward thinking in how to position Deliver for the future and anticipating what key insights the organization needs to drive the business. The qualified individual for this role will demonstrate strategic focus and end-to-end thinking, and be comfortable working with detail, big data, and the tactical development of analytics & data science capabilities. Key criteria will also include managing relationships with key stakeholders including Customer Service, Trade Controls, Transportation and regional Operational leaders.Responsibilities:

Establish processes and build solutions to improve management and access to data (CDL strategy and execution) in partnership with IMSC and JJT to support advanced analytics processes across global teams.

Continue leading the deployment of Cost to Deliver capabilities and drive expansion to Cost to Serve P&L elements, in conjunction with regional priorities.

Launch Real Time Customer Analytics capabilities for Customer Service teams utilizing data streams (eg. SFDC, JJCC, Genesys, Qualtrics)

Provide Operations performance transparency through real-time dashboards, insights generation and governance in areas of Customer Service and Global Trade Compliance.

Partner across Deliver (i.e. Transportation, CX, Capacity Management, Risk & Resilience, etc). to map out best in class KPIs, data ingestion and analytics needs to define deployment roadmaps and team resourcing.

Accelerate predictive insights and data science use cases

Drive knowledge transfer across functions/regions/franchises to ensure creation and deployment of performance management capabilities.

Drive coordinated change management and effective stakeholder management as new processes, tools and requirements are developed and deployed.

Utilize project management tools and strong project leadership to deliver results on-time and provide timely updates to management.

Demonstrate a sense of urgency to deliver product on time and ensures accuracy in data presented

Communicate in all directions to keep associates, peers, and management informed of project status, process changes, and opportunities

Prioritize and manage multiple complex simultaneous tasks and projects.

Establish optimal organizational design and team structure, based on evolving areas of data & analytics focus.

Lead the global Data & Analytics team based on CREDO values, focusing on DEI initiatives while supporting their development and growth within the company.

Lead a global team in different geographies. Own people and performance management process for reporting team.

Execute the Digital Data & Analytics strategy, defining success metrics and the capability roadmap.

Leverage evidence-based analysis and a strong relationship network to identify gaps in the data landscape and address pain points (financial, technical, resource, etc.)

Work in close collaboration with JJT and business teams to manage data requirements and ensure priority systems are ingested into the Common Data Layer

Provide people leadership and change management to ensure full adoption of new tools and technologies, particularly within robotic process automation, AI/ML, and other emerging technologies.

The successful candidate will challenge the status quo and socialize new ways of working to drive business value and accelerate digitalization

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required

MBA/advanced degree and/or focused degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business or Analytics preferred

Minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience required

Supply Chain or Logistics experience required

Strong analytical, written, verbal communication skills and learning agility required

Demonstrated partnership and influence across global and cross-functional stakeholders required

Ability to operate with uncertainty and high complexity required

Project management experience required

Previous experience managing virtual global teams preferred

Experience with agile methodology, i.e., Scrum or Kanban preferred

Experience with Qlik, Power BI, or Alteryx preferred

Data mining experience to successfully organize and analyze data to meet business needs required

Experience with cloud-based software systems and related technologies/data flows (Microsoft Azure, ERPs, application databases, network security) preferred

Advanced proficiency of various data and analytics tools, with demonstrated business results in optimizing business processes required

Location & Travel Required: Preferably based at a IMSC Location, to 20% domestic or international travel

Strong understanding of supply chain processes and technologies with emphasis in Distribution, Warehousing and Transportation for pharmaceutical industry.

Strong knowledge of Innovative Medicine Supply Chain and IM Deliver business processes/requirements is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result.

Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholders.

People management demonstrated experience.

Experience designing, developing, implementing a business process improvement.
