Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program
Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License
BLS Certification through American Heart Association
Previous clinical & weaning protocol experience
Reasonable knowledge of respiratory equipment function
Patient assessment skills
Scheduling Requirements:
Night Shift
Per Diem scheduling
Essential Functions:
Assesses patients' pulmonary status
Develops plan of care in collaboration with the physicians and nurses
Delivers respiratory care to patients
Evaluates treatment and orders/confirms appropriateness and initiates treatment of MDI, HFN, CPT, Aerosol treatment
Participates in monitoring patient care outcomes as established by targets/goals or Performance Improvement within services
Performs other duties as requested
