Record to Report, Finance at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team!We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team player that has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will oversee the daily processing of the general ledger, among other responsibilities. The successful candidate will display a balance of hard and soft skills, including the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs.YOUR DAY-DAY:
Close financials and ensure all revenues and expenses are accounted for accurately.
Daily management of the general ledger and staff
Review all journal entries that are processed and ensure they are prepared in accordance with the company policy and in line with monthly close schedule.
Review bank reconciliations and daily cash management process.
Review all account reconciliations and ensure they are prepared and reviewed in accordance with the company policy.
Complete complex research and inquiries of GL transactions.
Prepare and present quarterly flux presentations to Senior Management.
Coordinate audit (internal & external) and tax requests including preparation of supporting reports and documentation.
Continuously identify and develop solutions for process improvement.
Assist with accounting integration activities, which includes implementing a variety of finance and accounting related solutions.
YOU HAVE: (a
BS/BA in accounting is required.
Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
Solid knowledge of GAAP and regulations
Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
