As each business function prepares for the launch ofNYC’s Commercial Waste Zones (CWZ) program (https://www.nyc.gov/assets/dsny/site/resources/reports/commercial-waste-zones-plan) , elements of our business require change and expansion to accommodate the historic evolution of NYC’s waste collection industry. We’re seeking an addition to our NYC safety team who will learn, organize, and track safety training and activities across the NYC market.ResponsibilitiesPOSITION OVERVIEWProvide clerical and administrative support to the safety department. This position will work with Operations and Safety to ensure that training is properly documented, tracked, and updated as we onboard high volumes of front-line new-hires.RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each task in a timely and efficient manner.

Maintain compliance tracking of training and medical information for all field employees (approximately 1,000- 1,500 employees)

Process all training certificates and sign in sheets to ensure it is properly tracked in the training matrix and employee electronic folders.

Organize printed training documentation across multiple locations within a streamlined, digital database

Create and manage training cards/documentation as needed for work in NYC.

Support reporting of training documentation to regulatory agencies

Develop a positive working relationship with both internal and external customers.

Administrative duties including filing, typing, mailing, phone communication, etc.

Performance of other duties and responsibilities as required by management.

QualificationsREQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma/ GED

Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Excellent in-person and digital communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT)

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
