Your role will focus on delivering project financial plans, improving commercial results and driving financial acumen across all phases of the project lifecycle.Reporting directly to the ANZ Finance Director, you will also play a pivotal role in collaborating with operations and senior leadership to ensure the successful delivery of financial and business goals.This is a rare opportunity to lead from the front, shape financial strategy and inspire a high-performing team in a dynamic and innovative organisation.What will a day in this role look like:Collaborate with regional leadership to influence bid and pricing strategies, ensuring profitability and cash flow optimization.Lead the monthly close process, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial reporting.Oversee revenue recognition in line with company policies and analyse overhead expenditures for the region.Develop and execute financial strategies that align with AECOM’s regional and global objectives.Manage financial risks by anticipating challenges, analysing economic and commercial conditions and taking preventive measures.Ensure full SOX compliance, support annual audits, and maintain strong internal controls to protect the organization’s financial integrity.Provide fact-based commercial insights, leveraging data from internal and external sources to guide strategic business decisions.
