ICM Logistics, trucking company in Vineland, NJ, is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. If you have a strong background in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Work on Heavy Duty Trucks including Volvo, Freightliner, Peterbilt and trailers.
Diagnose and repair engine issues and air brakes.
Adjust equipment and replace any defective parts.
Perform maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating.
Use computerized systems or testing equipment to diagnose malfunctions or problems.
Repair and verify emission control systems.
Order parts as required.
Understand the inner workings of various fleet equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized shop garage; you may need to bring your own tools.
Provide road service as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Knowledgeable about engine systems, air brakes, and emission control systems.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable and able to perform road service when required.
Compensation:
$25 per hour
1099 pay structure
