Prominent and respected counter top fabricator and installer of Granite, Quartz, Solid Surface and other materials, seeks an experienced, CNC CAD Programmer
Primary Function:
CAD Programmer is to produce professional accurate technical drawings and machine program packages for residential and/or commercial projects
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Interpret digital field templates to create final machine/digital drawings and submit shop drawings to the fabrication operation.
Drawing take offs, material yield and general project scope for project Estimator.
Programming CNC machinery through AlphaCAM,Stone Vison,Tek Stone, and Slabsmith.
Plan and schedule daily tasks devoted to the completion of design and drawings required to meet deadlines.
Manage and maintain files, spreadsheets, and other computer programs that provide all necessary data to support each project.
Skill Set:
Must have well developed technical skills, excellent memory, hands on practicality, and attention to details.
Must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts, design plans.
Should work well under pressure with changing deadlines and priorities.
Should be qualified with advanced ability to use drafting and drawing techniques.
Must have the ability to work well with people on various levels.
Must be highly specialized in computer applications for designing.
Should be knowledgeable with Windows MS Office Software, CAD Program, AlphaCAM, Stone Vision and Slabsmith.
Candidate should be a quick learner and highly motivated.
Stone experience is a plus, but not required will train the right person.
Compensation is based on experience
