We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our team to address and reduce sound transmission between units.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Sound Mitigation and Carpentry Specialist to help us reduce noise transmission between rental units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soundproofing techniques, as well as solid carpentry skills.
Responsibilities:
Assess current sound transmission issues in our residential units.
Develop and implement effective soundproofing solutions.
Install soundproofing materials such as acoustic panels, sound barriers, and insulation.
Perform general carpentry tasks related to sound mitigation projects and other general construction task.
Collaborate with property management to schedule and execute projects with minimal disruption to tenants.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in soundproofing and mitigating sound transmission in residential or commercial buildings.
Strong carpentry skills, with the ability to handle various tools and materials.
Knowledge of different soundproofing materials and installation techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills to interact with tenants and management.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
