Tenacity Fitness is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Part-Time Strength and Conditioning Coach to assist in designing and implementing training programs that enhance athletic performance, reduce injury risk, and support the overall physical development of our athletes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse athletic populations and a strong commitment to safe and effective training practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead strength and conditioning sessions for individuals and teams.
Assist in creating and modifying sport-specific workout programs based on athlete needs and performance goals.
Instruct proper techniques for strength training, conditioning, and recovery.
Monitor athlete progress and maintain accurate training records.
Ensure a safe and supportive training environment.
Communicate effectively with athletic trainers, coaches, and other staff.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the weight room and training areas.
Qualifications:
Current certification from a recognized organization (e.g., NSCA-CSCS, NASM-PES, ACSM, or CSCCa).
CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required.
Prior experience coaching in a collegiate, high school, or private setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
