GARDEN STATE BOOKS & MEDIA is seeking a PART-TIME SORTER at our Bellmawr, NJ warehouse. This position will be directly supervised by the owner of the company.

Job responsibilities include:
- Sorting pallets of books & media according to guidelines prepared by Garden State Books
- Operating heavy equipment (pallet tilter)
- Picking books from shelves for shipping to customers
- Basic cleaning responsibilities
Qualifications include:
- Can work in a hot environment. Our warehouse does not have AC and can get above 90 degrees in the summer (we have fans for comfort)
- Can stand for long periods of time.
- Speaks and understands both written and spoken English.
- Basic computer skills (sorting is done with a scanner and web based system).
- Knowledge of a diverse range of book genres is a plus.
Garden State Books & Media Inc sells used books, CDs, and DVDs on Amazon and eBay. Our 2000 sq ft warehouse holds up to 11,000 items for sale and twenty to thirty tons of unsorted materials.
