Job Advertisement: Mold Remediation Technician

Responsibilities:
Perform mold remediation and abatement according to industry standards and company protocols.
Set up and operate specialized equipment, including air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA vacuums.
Contain contaminated areas to prevent the spread of mold.
Remove and dispose of mold-infested materials safely and efficiently.
Apply antimicrobial treatments and sealants to affected areas.
Conduct thorough inspections and document findings.
Communicate effectively with clients, explaining the remediation process and addressing their concerns.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with other restoration tasks as needed, such as water damage mitigation.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in mold remediation or a related field preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
Knowledge of mold remediation techniques and industry best practices.
Ability to operate and maintain specialized restoration equipment.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, AMRT) are a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent.

This is an hourly position starting at $17 an hour to $25 an hour based on experience and certifications.
