BlandaScaping, LLC, a Woodbury based landscaping company is looking for a hardworking and dependable Team Leader to join our team. BlandaScaping has been in business for 7 years and continues to grow and expand with each new season. We are always on the lookout for dedicated team members to grow with us. NOTE: BlandaScaping is a hardscaping and landscaping installation and maintenance company. We do not offer lawn care as a service. If your experience is mostly limited to grass cutting, this may not be the position for you.
Starting Pay Rate ranges between $21 and $24 an hour and is dependent upon existing skill set and experience in landscaping, hardscaping and plants. New employees will receive a of ideal performance and attendance.
This is a full time seasonal position, typically running from early March through December. Attendance is of the highest importance. Employees must arrive for work everyday and on time.
Requirements of the position:
-Must have experience in landscaping and/or hardscaping.
-Must have experience in team leadership/management.
-Must be proficient in towing a trailer.
-Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
-Must be able to work long days (10+ hours)
-Must be drug-free
-Must be dependable, honest and have strong integrity
-Must have a reliable means of transportation to and from work.
-Must be responsible for one’s actions, decisions and life.
Team Leader will perform the following tasks:
-Lead other team members to complete projects to company quality standards.
-Complete projects in a timely manner using time management skills.
-Work with the crew, and lead by example and education.
-Complete proper documentation during every shift and manage truck/trailer.
A standard week will require an employee to work the following schedule:
-Monday through Friday 7 am to 5 pm (or until completion).
-Saturdays will be required, typically during April-June

-Cold weather
-Rain
-Excessive Heat
-Poison Ivy/Oak/Sumac
-Bees and other insects
-Small and Heavy Machinery
-No Proper Restroom
