Durand, Inc. is a well-regarded non-profit agency in southern New Jersey that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and other behavioral challenges. We are looking for a weekend maintenance technician.
Summary
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the technician is responsible for keeping corrective maintenance activities for the Group Homes and ATS Programs
Requirements:
· Surveys working locations, making note of fleet and facility items in need of repair or replacement during daily routine and reports to Maintenance Manager.
· Performs fleeting duties of transport, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance checks as needed on a regular basis with follow up.
· Performs all duties of a project nature as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and shops.
· Reports all work and supplies in a complete and concise manner.
· Assists in performing seasonal activities and services such as needed.
· Maintains in good working order all equipment available and utilized.
· Will work in conjunction with and assist with facility maintenance when needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Trade School graduate a plus.
2 or more years of general maintenance experience required.
Able to Lift and Carry 50+ pounds.
Ability to use maintenance equipment as needed.
A valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required to properly carry out duties and responsibilities.
