House Manager for Sober Living Home

About Us:

Another Chance LLC is a supportive sober living environment for women aged 18 to 60. We focus on providing a safe, nurturing space for recovery and personal growth. Our facility accepts all major insurances, including New Jersey Medicaid.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate House Manager to oversee our sober living home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and a strong commitment to supporting women on their journey to sobriety. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Daily Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily operations of the sober living home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.

- Conduct intake interviews with potential residents and manage the admission process.

- Provide support and guidance to residents, helping them set and achieve personal recovery goals.

- Facilitate group meetings and activities that promote community-building and recovery.

- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.

- Act as a liaison with treatment providers, therapists, and other support services.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident progress and incidents.

- Manage house budgets, supplies, and resources.

- Address any conflicts or issues among residents in a timely and constructive manner.

- Encourage a positive and respectful atmosphere that fosters independence and recovery.

Qualifications:

- Must be a woman, aged 18 or older.

- Valid driver’s license.

- Experience working with individuals in recovery or in sober living environments.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to maintain professional boundaries while showing empathy and support.

- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.

- References required.
