As a Home Health Aide for Right at Home you will assisting your senior patient with "Activities of Daily Living." These can include: bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, meal prep, grocery shopping, medication reminders, picking up prescriptions, emotional support and companionship, helping with pet care, doctor appointments, social outings, light housekeeping, light laundry.

A certification is not required to start the job. However some experience caring for an elderly person is needed.
Dementia, Alzheimer's care experience also preferred.
All caregivers must have a valid DL and a reliable car! All caregivers also must have 2 job references, Manager or Supervisor only in writing. Name, Title, phone number. We must be able to speak to your reference on the phone about past attendance. If you frequently call out sick or miss shifts, This is not for you

The only course that costs is our NJ CHHA online course. The tuition is 329.00 due at registration. Tuition is non refundable. Our training is online with 2 days, 16 hours, in our skill lab, usually scheduled on Saturdays. 10 hours a week on line studies for 6 weeks. Very user friendly and geared to the adult learner. All you need is a laptop or tablet.
We are mask free. We ask that you NOT wear a mask in the office or at the client's home. If you are afraid of germs this is not the job for you, this is patient care.
