Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Restaurant Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel welcome, valued, and excited about their dining experience. You will manage guest seating, help maintain a smooth flow of restaurant operations, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Responsibilities:
Guest Reception: Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Seating Management: Manage the reservation system, seat guests promptly, and ensure the dining area is arranged according to restaurant standards.
Waiting List Management: Keep track of waiting lists and ensure guests are seated as soon as possible, minimizing wait times.
Customer Service: Assist guests with inquiries, offer information about the menu or specials, and direct them to their tables. Address any concerns or issues with professionalism and courtesy.
Communication: Work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and timely seating of guests.
Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the host stand and entrance area are kept clean and organized at all times.
Reservations: Manage phone calls for reservations, confirm bookings, and make adjustments when necessary. Handle walk-in customers and make them feel comfortable.
Support Team Members: Assist servers, bartenders, and other restaurant staff with tasks during peak hours, such as arranging seating or distributing menus.
Promote a Positive Experience: Ensure every guest feels welcome and valued, providing the highest level of customer service to enhance their overall experience.
