At Christopher’s Deli & Catering in Mt Holly, we are always looking for Personable, Friendly, Energetic & Attentive people to Serve our Customers and provide services behind the Deli Counter and our Hot Food Counter by Taking Orders, Making Sandwiches and creating that "Special" experience our Customers expect. We are looking for Part-Time & Full-Time Deli Counter Candidates. Our hours are current Seasonal hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. You will be required to work 3 Saturdays per month for Part-Time and 2 Saturdays for Full-Time. We PAY BETTER THAN ANYONE & HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT!
Deli Counter Job Description & Responsibilities:
Warmly Greet Customers with a Smile and Assist in their Selections
Have a positive attitude with friendly Customer Service Skills
Take food/drink orders (at the counter, by phone and tablet for GrubHub & DoorDash)
Prepare Handcrafted Sandwiches
Weigh Deli items for Customer orders (Requires use of Deli Meat Slicers)
Serve Hot Entrees
Assist in Preparation of Deli Trays for Catering
Use Scales and Volume measures to portion product correctly
Adhere to all applicable Health Department and Safety Rules/Regulations
Process All Transactions through Toast POS System
Inventory stock and restock product to storage
Maintain a clean and healthy food handling service areas and customer seating areas
Inform customers about our deli specials, provide food samples, and promote sales within the store and be a fine
representative of the Christopher’s Deli Catering Family to our loyal customers
Requirements:
Experience in Making Sandwiches Highly Desirably
Quick Service Restaurant or Deli Experience Required
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Positive Attitude and Customer Service-Oriented
Must have Reliable Transportation
Must be able to lift and carry 35 pounds
Adhere to uniform and grooming policy as defined within company policy
Conduct business in accordance with all Federal, State and Local Weights and Measures, Food Safety and Sanitation Regulations and Company Policies, Procedures and Guidelines
