Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health of our organization and requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH QUICKBOOKS ONLINE.
Duties
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
Utilize QuickBooks for efficient record-keeping and financial reporting.
Assist in budgeting processes by providing accurate financial data.
Prepare tax documents and ensure timely filing in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct double-entry bookkeeping to maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions.
Collaborate with public accounting firms as necessary for audits or additional financial services.
Qualifications
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, tax regulations, and financial report writing.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping principles.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately.
A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
