The Department of Pediatrics at Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a licensed psychologist (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) for a full-time faculty position at an “Open Rank” in our Southern New Jersey offices. The qualified candidate must possess a commitment to working with marginalized and underserved communities and experience in the administration & delivery of pediatric and adolescent patient care services in an inter-professional setting.Primary responsibilities of this position include:

Provide culturally informed assessment and evaluation of pediatric and adolescent patient, treatment, and referrals for patients experiencing emotional, social, and mental health problems.

Consider social determinants of health and social identities in assessment, treatment, and patient referrals.

Provide consultation to other clinical staff in the department as requested.

Adhere to standards and values of patient centered care.

Participate in pre-and post-doctoral medical training activities, education & feedback within the Department of Pediatrics including:

Community Service Learning and Leadership course support

Resident research activities

HRSA Health Careers Opportunities Program curricular support

Other research or educational projects as available

Grant surveillance and participation

Involvement in department, school, and university committees.

Perform other duties as designated by the Department Chairperson.

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited APA doctoral program.Candidates must be licensed in the state of New Jersey at the time of hire.Salary is competitive and is accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.Our clinical campus is located in Southern New Jersey, which is within the Philadelphia metropolitan area approximately eight miles from Center City Philadelphia, one hour from the Jersey Shore, an hour and a half from NYC, and two hours from Washington, DC.Rowan University celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
