Service Desk /Data Center Technician L2Location: Secaucus, NJContract : 6 monthsIT Technology Client
Note:Regular shift/Day shift Travel required: Mon-Fri this job will require customer communication, leading a project to conclusion, technical hardware troubleshooting, physical installation, cabling, and most of all, travelling.Should be interested to Travel Locally/ Out of State to Data Centers: (for local travel, it will be their own vehicle. For local travel)Ideally the candidate would have a passport in case they need to travel internationally, but domestic travel is going to be more frequent.Requirements:- Hardware troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause analysis experience
- Troubleshooting utilizing tools in:
- Linux terminal command line
- Windows command line
- Willing to travel
- Up to 50% of the time
- Currently in possession of or able to obtain a passport
- Troubleshooting utilizing tools in:
- Hardware break-fix
- Lan/WAN configuration
- Firmware updates
- 75% Technical Skills and 25% Process skills
- Windows and Linux OS skills - troubleshooting
- Shifts 10 / 12 Hr Shifts, 3 Days in the first week (36 Hrs) and 4 days in the second week (48 Hrs). The alternate week will get the weekend off
- Server platforms break-fix experience is very important
- Datacenter Experience is important
- Remote Support experience is important
- Ticketing system experience is a must
