These are often serious decisions with far reaching consequences, and require sensitivity, tact, and a clear dedication to service.It's about providing clarity and hope.The Senior Manager, Commercial Contracting will manage contracting, process, application and contract generation, analytics, and reporting through all stages of the contracting process. Serve as the primary advisor to Director, Commercial Contract Compliance. Create and implement tactics and tools to drive contracting center of excellence. Implement process improvements for Quest Diagnostics and its affiliates to better serve its customers to include: Physicians, Health Plans, Integrated/Independent Physician Associations, Health Systems, ACOs and other laboratories, managing profitable and meaningful changes in the company. Collaborate across the Commercial organization on process refinement, driving standardization and efficiency. Work cross-functionally with Legal, Pricing/Finance, Commercial Technology, Clinical Franchises, and regional commercial representatives to develop, implement and drive contract management compliance.This is a remote opportunity.Lead the contract generation, management and provider enrollment Centers of Excellence focusing on efficiency, standardization, and controls for high-volume and high-risk key customers.Manage and drive key performance indicators (KPI) to monitor contract performance.Develop an internal audit review processes to help drive contract compliance in accordance with company and industry standardsProvide guidance and oversight during scheduled audits, driving toward actionable insights to refine the contract management processManage SOPs, process maps to ensure that processes are aligned with key business objectivesWork cross-functionally with Commercial Leadership, Legal, Compliance, Health Plans Directors, Franchises, Regions, Esoteric laboratories and other internal resources to drive contract management centers of excellenceManage a team of direct reports (8)Required Work Experience: 5+ years' experience in Healthcare Industry and a comprehensive understanding of functional departments within a Laboratory-based organization to include but not limited to: Sales, Legal, Compliance, Billing, Lab Operations, Marketing4+ years of paralegal experience2+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams3+ years of experience in CRM and Contract Management software/applications, particularly Salesforce.com and Apttus/Conga cloud-based softwareKnowledge:In depth lab industry knowledge, specifically ancillary provider contracting.Strong written & verbal communicationPlanning and organizationEducation:Bachelor's Degree RequiredQuest Diagnostics is an equal employment opportunity employer.
