Data entry, cash applications, and full cycle A/P will be the main responsibilities of the Bookkeeper. On top of this, you will manage month-end closing, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and accounts payable. This Bookkeeper opportunity will be located in the Secaucus, New Jersey area and will be a permanent position. This role is with a company in the Manufacturing field.Your responsibilities in this role

Enter Accounts Payable

Keep a general ledger

Organize cash flow projections, as needed

Skilled in credit card management and reconciliation

Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Get ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Oversee monthly accounting close

Maintain monthly accounting close

Accounts Receivable

Work on special projects occasionally

Draw up monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents Requirements - Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

5+ years of related experience- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Prior accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

Bookkeeping experience

Inventory Accounting experience preferred

Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills

Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
