Fund & Investment Accountant

Description A client based in Fort Lee, NJ is currently seeking an Fund Accountant to join their team on a contract to full-time basis. The Fund Accountant will report to the Controller, and will be directly involved in managing a variety of accounting responsibilities for a family operated organization with investments in real estate, private equity, partnerships, and other funds. The Fund Accountant will be highly familiar with investment accounting, partnership accounting, hedge fund activity, accounting for real estate investments, and working with investors. Experience with daily cash reconciliations and daily cash positioning is critical, as is knowledge of tax returns, and managing a high volume of entities. Proficiency with SEI Archway or Advent Geneva software is highly desirable.
